Daniel, J.D., MBA received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2019. He earned his MBA, with Distinguished Graduate honors, from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio in 2021, followed by his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2022. Upon graduating from law school, Daniel began his legal career as an Associate with Thompson Patent Law before joining pH IP Law. He has extensive experience working in numerous technological areas, including medical, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and software technologies.
Daniel's legal practice focuses on patent prosecution and portfolio development, with a particular emphasis on the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts.
Experience
Daniel devotes his practice to intellectual property law, with a specific concentration on patent prosecution, portfolio development, and transactional matters. His patent prosecution experience includes all phases, from initial invention disclosure meetings through final allowance of patent claims. Daniel counsels clients regarding licensing and other transactional matters involving intellectual property. Daniel is experienced with providing opinions regarding non-infringement, patent validity, and freedom-to-operate issues.
